She's not the tallest star in Hollywood but that didn't stop Eva Longoria from wearing a dress long enough to trip over. Choosing style over practicality and ditching her usual strappy heels, the diminutive Desperate Housewives star headed to the studios in the outfit - which was at least three inches too long. The only giveaway that the 5'2" actress was heading to work and not to a fashion show was the three large bags she had draped over one arm.

The 34-year-old has obviously developed a penchant for long floaty dresses. She was spotted a fortnight ago out bridal-shopping in West Hollywood in a floaty pink number, which was also too long for her. Eva is currently filming the upcoming sixth season of Desperate Housewives. In the new series, Eva's character Gabrielle and her husband Carlos's (Ricardo Chavira) lives are taken over when they welcome their niece Ana into their home. Meanwhile, following the success of her LA eaterie Beso, Eva is launching a second branch in Las Vegas. The star's Latin steakhouse will open in the Crystals retail centre in the Sunset Strip in December.
